Arbeit Studios Earth Week: The Loop End of Cycle and Trowbridge Gardens

Arbeit Studios is organising a week of free workshops and community‑led activities across Trowbridge Gardens and The Loop, celebrating Hackney Wick’s creative circular economy hub. Expect hands‑on making, sustainable practices, material reuse, and opportunities to meet the people shaping local circular business.

Earth Week Hackney Wick is sponsored by Arbeit Studios as part of a grant received from Hackney Council’s Local Area Activation Fund, to support activities that bring key routes and public spaces to life, encourage visits to local businesses and create moments of connection with community organisations.

22 and 25 April

The Loop: End of Cycle Celebration (Earth Day)

Wednesday 22 April, 11 – 7:30pm

Hackney Wick’s first circular business hub is reaching its end-of-cycle at Wallis Road. Come celebrate and join us for workshops and hands‑on sessions.

  • Gardening (11h) flax processing (14h), plastic recycling (17h30) and soft‑plastic upcycling (17h30) workshops

  • Meet the businesses behind The Loop

  • A last opportunity to explore The Loop before its farewell.

Earth Week at Trowbridge Gardens

Saturday 25 April, 11am–5pm

A day of sustainable workshops, swaps and community activities. More activities and workshops to be announced throughout the next few days.
