Trowbridge Centre E9
A former social services site, Trowbridge Centre is being transformed into a creative work place, offering a range or artists studios and offices, a cafe, a fitness club, gardens, and a gallery all within one space in East London.
Most units benefit from natural light, small mezzanine storage, table, chairs and cabinet. The studios are about 2 minutes from Hackney Wick Station.
.Arbeit and Hackney Council are pleased to announce the opening of new studios in partnership with the Greater London Authority.
Arbeit will be leasing the Trowbridge Centre from Hackney Council for the next seven years as part of a council project to deliver affordable workspace for existing small, independent and artistic firms in Hackney Wick while redevelopment takes place on other sites in the area, enabling them to stay locally.
Trowbridge Gardens will become a new creative hub from this autumn with more than 20 studios, a café, a 'men’s shed', a maker space and a Gym.
The Studios are surrounded by a lovely garden which is managed by Hackney Herbal.
We are inviting artists, designers, freelancers and small businesses from Hackney Wick and Fish Island to to view the space and to tell us what they need as a business.
