Barratt London and AND London are launching two major public art and design commissions for Springfield Village in Tooting Bec, and want impactful, thoughtful and community-rooted ideas.
Springfield Village is promoting two open calls ending on January 25th, the Public Seating and the Public Art competitions.
Public Art Prizes: artist fee costs are covered by the overall project budget of £95,000
Public Seating Prizes: winners will be paid their artist fee, which will come out of the overall project budget of £40,000
Springfield Village Public Seating Open Call invites designers to submit two bespoke pieces of street furniture, which should be accessible and durable.
The Public Art Open Call invites participants to create public artworks for Springfield Village in Tooting Bec, London.
The artworks should be informed by Tooting Bec's character and aim to establish a cultural legacy.
