Applications are opening for the Artists Now Bursaries 2026–27, with awards of £500 to £1,500 available to help Artist members invest in their professional development. 

The bursaries support artists at every stage of their career to develop their artistic practice, skills, knowledge, networks and professional opportunities. 

You can apply for funding towards a tailored programme of activities that could include professional training, mentoring, research and development, residencies, networking, portfolio development or specialist advice. You can also include eligible costs such as travel, studio costs, materials and artist fees. 

They’re looking for applications that show a clear opportunity for development and explain how the proposed activities will support your practice and have a meaningful impact in the longer term.
