Joy of Sound - Through Their Lens:
“A journey in my community”

Joy of Sound (JOS) is a music and combined arts organisation who engaged their participants from their Hackney Music and Dance programmes in an exciting photographic project titled “A journey in my community”.

The project encouraged participants, mostly adults with learning disabilities and their support workers to capture and present their perspectives on community life through photography.

An inclusive photography exhibition with everyday moments, deep connections and the unique ways our Hackney community sees and experiences the world.

This projects is funded by Skinners Charity Foundation.
