Arbeit is managing the site with Hackney Council and working in partnership with the Greater London Authority.

We will be leasing Trowbridge Gardens from Hackney Council for the next seven years as part of a council project to deliver affordable workspace for existing small, independent and artistic firms in Hackney Wick while redevelopment takes place on other sites in the area, enabling them to stay locally.

Trowbridge Centre used to be a social service, which has now been transformed into a creative work place, offering a range or artists studios and offices, a cafe, a fitness club, gardens, and a gallery all within one space in East London.

Most units benefit from natural light. The studios are about a 2 minute walk from Hackney Wick Station.

​Trowbridge Gardens is a creative hub with more than 20 studios, that we offer to local residents. All artists will be involved in the community activities and free workshop will be provided to locals and community users.

The Studios are surrounded by a lovely garden which is managed by Hackney Herbal.

We are inviting artists, designers, freelancers and small businesses from Hackney Wick and Fish Island to view the space and to tell us what they need as a business.
