Ever wondered how a blank wall turns into a living, breathing canvas of light? This August, join Dr Blanca Regina for two hands-on days diving into the world of projection mapping and real-time visuals. Across the weekend you'll go from first principles to a finished piece of your own:
Day 1 — Meet your mentors and explore a range of video mapping projects for inspiration, then get hands-on with MadMapper - a leading projection‑mapping and real‑time visuals software - direct mapping, the Blueprint workflow, and projecting onto different surfaces and objects.
Day 2 — Go further with Syphon for live visual routing, MIDI and OSC for interactive control, and building scenes and cue lists for performance. The weekend closes with participants presenting their own mapped projects.

No experience is needed: the workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediates alike, and welcomes artists, designers, architects, and anyone curious about working with light and space. You'll leave with a one‑month full MadMapper licence, an educational discount on future purchases, and a real project of your own under your belt.

You’ll need to bring your own laptop (Mac or Windows) to take part in the workshop. If you’re using a Mac, make sure your system is running Mac OSX 10.7 or above (10.6 is not supported) and bring a mini‑DisplayPort or USB‑C to HDMI adaptor if needed.
You’re welcome to bring a MIDI controller, a projector, a model or shape you want to map onto, or a Minimad if you have them, but this is not mandatory.
